Visit to Wetzlar
A short trip to Wetzlar to pickup my camera at the Leica factory.
I found a mint and fairly well-priced Leica on Kleinanzeigen, and it happened to be from a Leica employee. That sounded like the perfect excuse to visit the city and get to know the factory.
These are the first snapshots from when I picked the camera up.
This was the spot and the view from the first ever photo taken with an Ur-Leica by Oskar Barnack in 1913. My version on the left.
